- Review from Janeen O on Gigmasters
Classically trained in musical theater, Lonna Marie's range spans classic soul to modern pop and everything in between. While her originals catalog has grown to include hundreds of songs, her cover song mashups of popular artists are always show-stoppers.
After playing some of New York's most well known music venues, Lonna Marie set forth on a one-way, fourteen city, cross-country tour sponsored by The House of Blues. Within a week of arriving in LA in 2013, Lonna played her first of many performances at the Whisky A Go Go. Lonna has also performed for packed crowds on Sunset Strip's House of Blues and the world famous acoustic mecca, Hotel Cafe.
Lonna's single "Drifting" was recently named runner up in the Song of the Year songwriting contest and has been featured on independent radio stations across the country. Lonna Marie is the perfect artist to set the mood for birthday parties, weddings, and corporate events. She can perform as a solo artist (ukulele and guitar) or a full-band--depending on the venue.
